APPCHARGE BCN

Appcharge · 2026 · Concept, CGI, FOOH direction

A FOOH teaser for Appcharge landing in Barcelona - a city bus buried nose-first in the Venetian Tower at Plaça d’Espanya, advertising panel intact.

Appcharge was arriving in Barcelona for Pocket Gamer Connects and wanted the announcement to look like something that actually happened. Fake out-of-home is the format: a plate shot on location, then a piece of the city rewritten in CGI until the feed can’t tell.

The gag is literal - arriving in a big way. A TMB bus is embedded in the brick of the Venetian Tower at Plaça d’Espanya, wheels still turning, dust falling from the fracture, interior lights flickering, and the rear ad panel reading HOLAAA. clean and unbothered.

Cut as a collage of angles: a wide that sells the landmark, a mid with a bystander’s hands on his head for scale and plausibility, and a close on the panel so the message lands before the joke is over. Delivered 9:16 and 1:1, graded and sound-designed for digital only.
