LIMBO

Fearless Toys · 2025 · Web design, UI, campaign art direction

A crowdfunding site for a precision metal top with a hidden motor, built around one question and one object.

Limbo is a machined top that spins for more than four hours on a single flick. The site had to sell a single object with almost no features to list, so it leads with a question - ARE YOU TRULY AWAKE? - and lets the top do the rest: one product, centred, on near black, spinning while you read.

The page runs dark until the shop. Product photography sits on a graphite gradient with a clock glyph as the only ornament, and the copy stays to one line per screen so the object never competes with a paragraph.

Two moments break the rhythm on purpose: an exploded technical view on pure black, hover-revealed part by part, and the collection section flipped to light grey so the three finishes and the buy controls read as a different, transactional space.
