A new site for a tea house founded in 1849, delicate typography, generous space, product first.
Wissotzky has been blending tea since 1849, Moscow first, Tel Aviv since 1936, and was the largest tea company in the world before the Russian Revolution took it apart. It now holds roughly three quarters of Israel’s tea market across some 200 blends.
A hundred and seventy years of that wants a site that reads considered rather than loud: quiet type, warm paper tones, photography given room to breathe. I designed the homepage, the product world and the responsive system underneath.
Outcome
Launched as the group’s main site for Israel’s largest tea company.
